HerdSync is a livestock and farm management platform built specifically for South African farmers. Developed and operated by The HerdSync Team in Krugersdorp, Gauteng, the platform offers herd tracking, health records, compliance management, and financial reporting tailored to South African regulatory requirements including the Animal Identification Act (AIDA) and POPIA.

It runs as a cloud web application and as native iOS and Android apps (Capacitor). All financial calculations and displays are in South African Rand (ZAR).

## Pricing

- Basic: R99/month — up to 80 animals. Core livestock, feeding, health, inventory and reports. Aimed at smallholders, hobby farms and emerging commercial operations.
- Starter: R249/month — everything in Basic plus market prices and expanded capacity.
- Pro: R599/month — unlimited animals, optional RFID tracking package (+ hardware), employee management and priority support. Available web-based or as an RFID package.

All plans include a 14-day free trial of the Starter plan with no credit card required. Billing is monthly in ZAR via Yoco (cards, EFT, SnapScan, Zapper, Apple Pay, Google Pay) or PayPal.
